Introduction
A very warm welcome to North Walsham in Bloom and I am delighted to introduce myself as 2008 Chairman. We are fortunate to live in a tourist area and I now look to serve the people and businesses of North Walsham in contributing to make the town a green, clean and colourful place to live whilst being an attractive and vibrant place to enjoy and spend money in as a visitor.
Many people who live, work and visit North Walsham admire and compliment the floral displays provided in and around various areas of the town. Due to the efforts of Volunteer helpers, support from businesses and the Town Council, North Walsham in Bloom has won and is still winning many awards for its floral expression and environmental activities achieving recognition via Anglia in Bloom.
Our new website/portal is intended for all local companies and professional associations to contribute to and take pride in their community. Why not get involved? Whether actively giving time to local projects or by sponsoring a location in the town.
We hope our website images "North Walsham in Bloom’s" initiatives and will encourage our community to form their own "Floral" groups to help improve and sustain the environment by growing more Flowers, Trees, Wildflowers and Vegetables too. We listen to and speak to many visitors and residents who remark they enjoy our Floral Way, Parks, Gardens and this all helps to encourage confidence in our aims, which is to help develop and promote North Walsham as a green, clean and colourful place to live.

The North Walsham in Bloom Community Environmental Competitions cost a substantial amount to run each year. We actively seek and invite donations, support and sponsorship to enable the very popular initiative to keep sustained and improved year on year
